When will this be held?

ThriftFest 2025, our inaugural year, will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Where is this located?

This will be held outside The Ark Antiques and Flea Market (301 S Main, McPherson, KS). This will be in our private parking lot.

The Ark will be open during this time for regular shopping.

What are the hours?

VIP Shopping Hours are from 9:30am - 10am. VIP ticket holders can keep shopping during later hours—they just get the first 30 minutes to only VIP holders.

Remaining shopping hours are 10am -12pm. This creates an exciting, fast-paced atmosphere. If we run out of time but people are still buying, it is only common sense that sellers will keep selling.

What is the cost to enter?

This is a gated event. We cap 50 VIP tickets for the first phase of shopping (9:30AM - 10AM). These tickets must be secured ahead of time and they cost $6. Regular tickets for the remaining duration of the event cost just $3.

Can I sell items here?

Yes, we still have some spaces available. There is a form below this section in which you can request our team to reach out to you to secure your spot. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.

What Security is Provided?

We will have two active police officers are working the event. This will help keep the event safe and help to prevent and prosecute shoplifting.

How do I secure my tickets?

There is a form on this website section that you can use to purchase your tickets. We are expecting 500 customers. Once you complete the form, you will be emailed an invoice to pay online via Square. VIP tickets are limited to 50 tickets.

Tickets must be purchased online and cannot be purchased directly at The Ark. This helps us stay organized, and we appreciate your understanding. During the day, tickets CAN be purchased at the gate. However, we are expecting long lines. Save time and purchase online.

You do not need to print off the digital ticket. Simply bring your state-issued ID to the “will call” tables (these open 30 minutes before each entrance) and we will issue you a wristband for either a VIP entrance or General Admission wristband.

Please explain the pricing structure.

As far as wares inside the ThriftFest fencing, nothing can be over $5 individually. Vendors may be willing to make deals. Some vendors are selling $100+ things for just the $5 price simply to make room in their home or booths.

Can I Bring My Kids?

Yes. All children 12+ need to have a ticket. Absolutely no strollers are allowed due to how tight the space will be.

Can I bring My Pet?

No. Trained service animals are allowed. Pets are not allowed due to how tight the space will be.

Are Refunds Given?

No. There are no refunds for booth sales or for tickets.

Enjoy shopping ThriftFest 2025 between 10am and 12pm noon. No product will cost more than $5. Children over 12 must have a ticket. You will pick up your ticket (a wristband) at the will-call table as early as 9:30am that morning.

What Questions Do You Have About Tickets?

  • This brand-new Ark-created event is Saturday, October 4, 2025. The sale will run from 10am to 12pm noon. VIP ticket holders get in at 9:30am. You will pick up your wristband at the “Will Call” table. Children under 12 are free. This will be a packed house. No strollers or wagons, please.

  • No. VIP tickets sold out within a 48 hours of announcing this event. Buy general admission tickets online and ahead of time to avoid waiting at Gate admission.

  • No. Specifically trained Service Animals are welcome. Emotional support animals are protected under housing laws but does not apply to events like this. With any questions, please contact a manager at The Ark/ We want you to be comfortable and feel great while you shop, but we must protect trained service animals from the increased presence of pets and emotional support animals.

  • BRING CASH. All of our vendors accept cash. Not all of them will be able to accept card, Venmo, Cash App, etc. CASH is king.

  • Vendors will sell a large variety of treasures, with no individual item being over $5.00. This is a thrifter’s dream come true. Some vendors will sell $80+ items for $5 just to clear out dead inventory and make new space in their booths.

Do You Want to Be a Vendor?

Space is limited and selling quickly. Register for your space, then pay the invoice that will be emailed to you (via Square) to secure your space.
